Peace and Quiet

I thought about heading down to Presque Isle yesterday, after the snow slowed down, but as I was headed there I saw the cemetery and thought that would be interesting. I wasn't disappointed.
It was deserted, and so silent and full of snow.
There were some remnants of the holiday...
And I can't help it. I know it's blasphemous. But doesn't it look like Jesus is about to get in a snowball fight?

How lucky to find the cemetery untouched except for that newly fallen snow. Your photos capture that truism that snow falls on everything--love the way it mounds and dips against the stones and statues. And wow to the red bow!

Great captures and conversions!

And I'm sure Jesus liked to throw snowballs. ;)

LOL....these are really great. I don't think Jesus would mind the joke either. It seems, with life as it is, that he must have a sense of humor.

Beautiful shots, Amy. I love the way the BW conversion underscores the simplicity of the snow and the tranquillity. And I had to laugh at the last one. I am sure that Christ had a good sense of humor...
