I haven't taken a picture since August 31st. (These are from a 12th Street shoot on 8/14.)
The problem is, I've been slammed at work lately. There's an emergency need for people, which means two training classes a day. I've been going in around 7 and getting home around 5:30. I have absolutely no energy for anything, much less tromping around taking pictures.
I miss it a lot, though. I definitely plan to force myself to get out this week and shoot something. After all, there's a lot to be seen out there.

I've not taken pictures for pleasure in a bit myself...need to rectify that soon.
i love the urban pping here, really fits the scene and mood.
these are great shot! I hear you on the not taking photos in awhile...I just can not seem to get my act together lately!
Cari
So sorry you have been working so hard - been missing your posts!! love those urban shots!!
I can totally relate, I've been slacking off in the photo department as well the last few months. I love how you named your entry perfectly to go with the photos. Very clever! Hope things settle down for you soon!
Hooray!!! Are those freaking birds on the ERIE sign? That is eerie...no pun intended.
I know what you mean... I feel out of the groove lately too. I hope we both get back "on track" very soon!
I love these shots though... the processing is so urban and gritty!
I love these railroad track shots, Amy, and the wonderful leading lines. Your PP really adds to that urban grunge feel. You have a flair for those evocative shots.
Ok, I literally laughed out loud at your journaling with your photos!! I love the Erie sign and you processed these perfectly!
Yeah, I know what you mean! I love that last shot. How do all the birds know to hang out there for your shot? ;)
What did you use on those track shots so get that look--the greens, the vividness, the desolation. Really nice!
I really hope you get to get out and take pictures for you! I always enjoy reading your commentaries and seeing the world thru your lens. I really like the way you processed these.
I've also been "off track" for some time now. But I'm doing my best to get right back on! Love your pp here!
Add me to the list.
Love you captures & symbolism.
You are so good at the urban grunge look, Amy. Hope you get to pick up your camera soon!
The cross processing on these photos really fits the mood and I love your poetic story and journaling. I am sorry you have been so busy...I truly hope things slow down for you soon.
