Keep your feet on the ground

and keep reaching for the clouds!
Does anyone besides me remember that old Casey Kasem tagline?

I figured I'd try to be on topic for once for the POTD challenge...

so here are some capture comparisons in color and black and white.

And now, for our long distance dedication.

I remember that tagline! I listed to him every day! These are amazing shots- I love how the mood changes so dramatically when you turn them to b&w!

I really like the shot with the cloud sitting on the bridge. Great clouds!! The conversions really work well.

PS--Got a glimpse of the lyrics on the right, and now I've got that song running through my mind. Wish I could snap my fingers for you... ;-)

Where do you get you POTD 'list' or are you just making your own?

We have a station around here that replays the old count downs from the 80's (showing my age here) and I like listening a remembering the day.........

Too awesome! You rarely see shots of the sky in b/w and I think it has a really great effect here.

I love the last one best, in its color rendition, because the clouds look full of dark rain. Wonderful shots!
