Look Closely

We took a walk at Asbury Woods this evening and came across this beautiful cluster of flowers.
They're beautiful in their own right, but look closely:

There's a spider...and a pretty little ladybug...and a bumblebee... and hide the kids' eyes for this one:

some kind of beetle, propagating the species.

Oh WOW... these are fantastic! That last shot made me giggle... and your wording to go along with it was TOO perfect. "Propagating"... tee hee...

Whoa, those are VERY attractive flowers! Love the shot of the ladybug getting ready to spread her wings. Nice Amy!

The flowers are beautiful! The bugs...not so much...I'm NOT a bug lover ;)

Cool! Love the color on all of them. The second one os my favorite (except for the spider ;)

The last one looks like love bugs except ours are all black. They "mate" for 24 hours then die. That's their whole life.

Terrific photos, but I love your narrative best.

Great shots, and like someone said, I love the stories you tell. They are so funny and informative at the same time. One of the things that keep me coming back here!

The lady bugs are so amazing. I cannot believe how perfectly sharp they are in these photos. You must have ONE steady hand.
