After the Rain

I took a break and went outside during the crop on Saturday. There was the most beautiful tree with magenta buds and it had just stopped raining. It was breathtaking.

I have to say that the thing I like most about photography right now is that I feel myself becoming more observant of everything around me. The sky, the flowers, the grass: they all hold so much interest when I consider them with photography in mind.

Aw, how good that you recognize your observing self. It's a feeling and a vision that you can use to steady and focus yourself.

Your did a terrific job with these photos. The dark background makes a perfect canvas for those colors.
