We took a walk at Asbury Woods one morning last week. What I love about Asbury Woods is that it has this awesome boardwalk through some of the woods, which makes for an easy stroll.
And then if you want to, there are paths through the woods. Even the paths are easy, though; not too hilly or anything, and the most you might have to deal with is a little boggy area.
Asbury Woods was actually originally owned by Otto Behrend. He founded the Hammermill paper company here in Erie, and later donated this land. It's full of tall trees...

Asbury Woods is a very swampy area in some spots. Some people look at a swamp and think it's ugly or messy.
But look closer.

You've really inspired me with your "look closer" photos--that frog is magic. And a man who made paper ought to donate a good woods to the community, don't you think? ;-)
