We're back! We had a great time in Pittsburgh...visited the zoo and Kennywood amusement park, swam in the hotel pool, and took a detour to McConnell's Mill State Park and the Museum of Transportation (!!) on the way home. I'm pretty disappointed in myself...I only took 863 pictures. At one point we got a bit lost on our way from the zoo to the hotel (thanks, Mapquest!) and I was really wishing I could just park the car and take a day to capture some of the really cool urban scenery and architecture downtown. Another time. For now, I'm a bit tired, so I'll leave you with this illustration of how I feel. Prepare to be bombarded over the next couple of days.

That ostrich/emu?? shot is hilarious!! Best zoo picture I've ever seen. My kids all got a good laugh out him, too. And only 863 pictures? Oh, my, you must be slipping. ;)

Bombarded? No way! I'm pulling up a front row seat, getting my pop corn and drink ready, for some great entertainment! 863 photos! How many camera cards???? I love that first shot! What great eyelashes! (and forehead brow?)
