Random pieces of Fall

Last week when we took a walk at Presque Isle, we visited Graveyard Pond Trail. Since the overall color of the trees is still pretty spotty, I took a lot of macro shots...random pieces of Fall, if you will.

(Note: Apparently I was wrong last month when I thought I might have seen the last bees of summer!)

Fun shots, Amy! You've got a great eye. LOVE that hald-and-half oak leaf. Nice find!!

Isn't fall amazing observed through a macro? All that green going away, bees turning black, dead ends curling and dry. So beautiful, Amy.

I love those top two photos! What are those spiraly things? And those blue berries are very pretty. You've inspired me; if it stops raining, I have to head outside and use my macro before everything's gone!
